Fifth sober anniversary for me. Nice luscious head with a nose of chocolate and cherry. Decent viscosity with a touch of woodiness and a really nice balance of cherry and dark chocolate. Hint of coffee with a dry finish. Sweetness is perfect. Damned good.

Coffee on the nose, but not so much in the taste, which has more fruit than expected. No real barrel or spirits character to speak of, but it’s quite tasty and maybe the body is slightly better than typical N.A. beer. Prolly not worth premium price tho…

Low carbonation, notes of Cherry Coke/ Dr. Pepper. Barrel is not present. I like the idea, but not the execution.

Definitely tasty. Tastes kind of like a flat Dr. Pepper, but in a good way. I don’t drink soda and hate the taste, but this is good. It doesn’t necessarily remind me of a stout though. Definitely not what I was hoping for, but not a let down, still tasty.
