St-Feuillien Quadrupel Oaked

The St-Feuillien Quadruple Oak Wood Aged is a very dark and dense brown beer. It is distinguished by a complex malty aroma with nuances of Madeira wine and candied fruit as well as an intense touch of fermentation esters (banana-like fruity aroma). The infusion of French oak chips during laying down enriches the beer with woody nuances of vanilla, caramel and coconut, and blends harmoniously with a light hoppy bouquet. The palate is long and powerful with a robust body. The bitterness is present but sweet. The maceration of the oak shavings highlights the natural qualities of the product, fullness in the mouth and smoothness.
