My second crack at the Krieken. Becoming an interesting midpoint between a saison and a Belgian quad. Dark chocolate and cherries. Not a lot of trademark 👻 funk now. Almost a whiskey edge. Boozy. Malty sweetness. Dark purplish-brown. Tan head. Good carb.

Sweet malts, candied stone fruits, malts, molasses, cherries. Hazy, dark brown, big, creamy, beige head. Light sweet. More dark malts, sweet oak, cherries, dark malts, dry straw, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Decent.Earned the Belgian Holiday (Level 69) badge!
Bottle from Etre Dark brown in color with a hint of ruby on the edges and some clarity with a huge bubbly off white head. Dark malts light roast faint cherry and earthy spice. Almost no balance in flavors, it tries to be too many things and fails. DecentEarned the Belgian Holiday (Level 11) badge!
