La Bracine Blonde

First beer produced in 2006 by the Brasserie du Pays Flamand, the Bracine Blonde is a young beer from the North of France. Brewed in top fermentation, it benefits from a refermentation in the bottle which will allow it to develop its whole range of tastes. Like most of the beers subsequently produced by the Brasserie du Pays Flamand, this Bracine Blonde will quickly meet with great success as it already has two silver medals, won at the Concours Général Agricole at the Paris Agricultural Show, in 2009 and 2011! It develops a light yellow colour in the glass, slightly disturbed by the yeast lees present at the bottom of the bottle and which is the result of the refermentation process in the bottle. This blond bracine offers to the nose sweet aromas of malt and yeast that evoke spices and roasted grains. In the mouth, we find fruity flavours that are accompanied by spicy yeast notes. The bitterness asserts itself on the palate and enhances the character of this relatively mild beer.
