Vintage 2016, BB 12/03/17, 355 ml bottle; Loads of melting caramel & toffee on the nose followed by a honey bread, raisins, caramelized apples & a touch of dates; notes of sweetened yoghurt, very restrained tart - sour profile on the nose ↘️

Davor Širec: Low oxidation (paper stack) but nothing to worry about; the base feels like an old ale or more malt driven oud bruin with cut off sourness; Taste: smooth carbonation with slightly fluffy feel, medium light body, quite crisp & refreshing on the palate
Davor Širec: More tart than sour but also less malt driven as suggested on the nose; harmonious interplay between malty sweetness & tart - sour part; honey bread soaked in lemonade, soft notes of wood & a touch of tannins; notes of green apple tartness & pear
Davor Širec: No obvious funk on the palate & nose; aged quite well; basic sour profile, light dryness at the tail; easy going & highly drinkable - sessionable
old bottle. nice balance between tart and sour and malts easy drinking sour, and a good sipper at the same time. Age shows a bit in this bottle, slight oxidation.
