When cold, this is a sickly sweet maple syrup. When it warms and you take small sips, the bourbon bite comes on nice and fairly strong and makes this beer fairly enjoyable. Unfortunately, for me, I drank about 4/5 of it before I recognized this

Quite sweet with a big nutty/maple/burnt sugar character. Crème brûlée like. There is some barrel vanilla mixed in but otherwise the barrel is a muted overall. A really nice dessert treat.
