Nose of oak, port wine, rye. Chocolate and light leather tannins. Smooth and complex both. Dark fruit.

Oak forward on nose. A little sweetness from port had to search for rye. Palate sweet chocolate dark fruit and leather followed by the barrels. Rye finish is pronounced and appreciated. French oak provides some tannins that add a picking to the dryness.
