Somewhere from the early 2000s...molasses n soy sauce at first. Then yellow raisins A1 sauce n teriyaki bit vinegary thou. Different and complex. The aroma is decent even get burnt cookie edges at times but the flavor is pretty icky.
2003 or 2004... aroma is chocolate raisin molasses balsamic and great. Flavor is chalky tar vinegar makes you shutter. Drain pour. Bottle looked black. Multiple rinses revealed it's blue! That much tar.Earned the Can in One (Level 2) badge!
Had a bottle of the ‘95 vintage and the cork was rotted out. Beer didn’t taste like I think it’s supposed to... harsh and leathery. Something off with the aroma. Not going to rate it. Disappointing but I didn’t buy it, so not a total loss!Earned the Verified Adventure (Level 71) badge! Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 40) badge!

The 1997 bottle was out. Was syrupy. Had distinctive flavor like it did in the 90s when it came out but still could be port wineEarned the Untappd at Home (Level 17) badge! Earned the American Craft Beer Around The World badge!
