Gingergold Pumpkin Ale

Our annual paean to the autumnal spirits that haunt the hallowed halls of commercialism, a capturing of lightning in a bottle, as the sun of summer slowly fades to the season of kings: fall. Braced through with exotic spices evocative of the old puddings and pies of merry old England (well, the Low Countries and Germany really, but western Europe is something of a melting pot when you really look at it). This bold, deceptively drinkable ale starts with a sweet base beer, then overlays spices of faraway lands, including ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Deep gold in color, with a bright and smooth body and a slightly caramelly finish, it drinks like a well-rounded preview of things to come, promises ahead made in trust. Show Less
