When I first tasted this, I asked the bartender if she was sure this was the pale ale.. Definitely different. Good, solid smoked oak flavor.

Not sure about the "pale" part, but the oak flavors are great! Creamy caramel and vanilla notes, with a light bitterness in the finish.
