Rakau IPA

May's IPA of the month features Rakau hops which are often described as “the whole orchard.” Brash fruity character along with big but well constructed bitterness are characteristic of this hop. Specific aroma descriptors include stone fruit and fig characteristics; fresh orchard fruits, specifically apricot with some resinous pine needle characteristics are noted.

Fermentation with London Ale 3 yeast provides for addditonal fruit tones. Munich and Pale Malts balane the hop profile. Show Less
