One of the true American styles of ale. California Common developed during the San Francisco gold rush and nearly died out before being resurrected by Anchor Brewing during the American craft beer boom.

At only 5% ABV Silicon Valley Expat features a firm bitterness that is balanced by a strong malty backbone. Hop aromas and flavors from Northern Brewer hops are spicy, minty, and slightly woody.
