Oaxaca Milk Stout

We are ready to release our first stout. While this stout may be small @ 4.8% abv, it's loaded with flavor. We took a session milk stout and then infused it w/ the flavors of Mole Oaxaca. We drew inspiration from from one of our favorite restaurants in Milwaukee called Riviera Maya Milwaukee & they actually helped us with formulations. We added some piloncillo sugar to the kettle and then we roasted some ancho, guajillo, & mulato chilis to add some nice pepper flavor w/ just a tiny touch of heat on the back end. This is all accentuated by the addition of toasted star anise, toasted almonds, & some fresh ground cinnamon. Finally, we topped it all off w/ some fresh roasted cacao nibs from our friends @ Videri Chocolate Factory in Raleigh, NC. Show Less
