Last of my bday beers from May 2020. Probably the oldest cellar beer I’ve had to date. Letting it warm up was key. More Cherry and chocolate. Still carbonated well.

Red Hunt is drinking a 3 Minutes To Midnight (2013) by Bellwoods Brewery at Queen Street West & Dufferin Street

That’s a smooth beast. Took some effort to get any head on the pour. Cherries are present but not bold. It has some old school leather, smoky qualities too. Fun to drink with many subtle, changing flavours. A little sweet ending with a roasty aftertaste.

Cellarstasis. Practically tastes like the day I put it in the cellar. Just over 5 years old and the cherries are as vibrant as ever. Slightly tart on a luscious bed of chocolate. This is sipping very nice!
