I see lots of poor ratings & was expecting the worst. Pulled this out of the cellar & when cold, it is a rip your head off metallic sour. Give it an hour & it tastes like a well ripened fruit kriek as it should be. Definitely drink near room temperature.

Hal Hickey: I also stopped buying Driftwood after 2017. Besides selling infected beer, they fiddled with recipes degrading almost all their beers that ruled for a long time. Even the once treasured Singularity is now a shelf turd.

Jamie: Yeah it’s been a few years since I’ve bought something from Driftwood.
Brandon Schultz: Jamie some of their stuff is good but the sours are very hit and miss, half the bottles of Venetrix I had were infected
Jamie: That’s why I don’t support them. A brewery shouldn’t repeatedly put out beers knowing it’s a miss.
