Lokys prie ežero tyliai kursto ugnį, Šernas kažką pasakoja, bet iki galo niekas neklauso – svarbiau tas momentas, kai viskas stoja į vietas. Pščink – atidaryta alaus skardinė. Alus iš to, kas aplink – iš pokalbių, iš kvapo nuo laužo, iš laiko, kuris niekur neskuba. Lokys paragavo pirmas, nieko nepasakė, tik linktelėjo. Šernas nusišypsojo – vadinasi, paliekam.

Skonyje lengvas vaisiškumas susimaišo su sausu, švariu pagrindu ir tuo vos juntamu laužo pojūčiu, kurį sunku įvardinti, bet lengva atpažinti. Toks, kurį geri ir net nepastebi, kaip atsiranda kitas.
