Having polished off my haddock and chips, I need something to wash it down, ideally a DIPA. After a garage trawl, found one! I like Beak’s take on the style, fruity and tropical, with some punch to it, getting mango and pineapple coming through.

Murky gold, like tropical juice. A bit lacking on the nose. Good body, sweet honeydew melon, low bitterness.

6/4/5/2/10 Fruity nose. Very overripe. This might be a bit past its prime. Not bad, but flavour’s a bit unbalanced.
