Summer Saison

Also known as a Farmhouse Ale, this is a Belgian-style pale ale. The beer style is quite varied as they were originally brewed on farms in Belgium using whatever ingredients they had on hand during the cooler months when the farm was less active. It would be stored for consumption in the busy summer season by the seasonal farm workers known as “saisonniers”.

The Belgian yeast drives most of the flavour in this beer, providing fruity and spicy esters to accompany the soft malt character.
