This can safely be filed under the “best new beers I tried in 2024,” and I honestly could see myself giving it the full five. If I had any criticism it’s that it might be overly chocolatey but even that is far from off putting. Barrique is KILLING IT!

Lightly roasted malty beer. Some caramel and nuttiness to it. Getting a very subtly smokiness too. Pairs great with home made slow smoked pork ribs and fried zucchini.

Still haven’t had a traditional English ale from these guys that was anything less than spectacular. This one might be a tad malty for as low ABV as it is but that’s about the only negative I can see.
