Kinda Pils

Birrificio Italiano of Como, Italy is credited with the creation of the "Italian Style Pilsner" with their Tipopils. Tipopils roughly translates to "Kind of a Pils". Italian Pilsners have a light crisp body similar to their German counterpart but are defined by a prominent noble dry hop aroma. Barrique Kinda Pils is brewed using 100% German Heidelberg Pilsner Malt, double decocted, fermented cold and slow, then lagered in oak barrels for 7 weeks. Towards the end of lagering the oak barrels were dry hopped with German Saphir and Slovenian Celeia, providing the beer with a delicate perfume of citrus and herbal hop notes, blanched by the doughy, slightly grassy malt character.
