Much more balanced than the bourbon/bourbon. Less syrupy. More spice. Notes of beer, yeast, wet oak, campfire char, charcoal, & a bold rye spice. Nice balance but boozy af.

Started in 9 yr. Fitzgerald bourbon and finished in 10 yr willet family estate rye. Has a bit more spice than the double bourbon. A bit more spice. Still lots of caramel and toffee. Bourbon and vanilla. So much booze and syrup. Vanilla. Mmm.

RandumInk: …good & somehow never too boozy; think chocolate cordial; graham cracker, caramelized sugar, golden raisin, apricot, almost vanilla custard, charred oak; body is near still but velvety, fatty. Touch of spiced coconut. Pretty awesome.
