Buon compleanno Bevi Birra e buonanima Barncat; celebrating one year for a great bottle shop and the sad end of a great brewery. I do wish the special barrel-aged tap offerings included a stout or barleywine, but I don't hate this beer so that's a plus.

Helping Ted clear out old bottles. This was very pleasant. Not at all sweet. The peach had a pleasant earthiness. I got a hint of smokiness, but not in a bad way. Instead, it melded nicely with the earthiness.

Lots of peaches in the nose and a decent amount in it. Moderately acidic, less than I was expecting at 2 years from release. Nice soft okay canvas for some subtle funk that plays nicely with the peach notes
