12 Stouts of Christmas: Day 4. Packaged still, and unlike most I actually appreciate what that does for the underlying complexities of a well constructed BA stout. There’s a lovely bourbon tingle amidst rich 85% cacao dark chocolate, and a whisp of vanil.

Huge ethanol nose with subtle roasted malt. Very boozy with a lot of depth. The vanilla is muted by all the other big flavors. Did not know this was packaged still. Would have been nice to know as it was not on the bottle.
