Great Golden color and super clear. Smells of bread and crust with some wheat notes. Minimal carbonation. Would like more. Slightly apple on nose and taste. Not really true to style. Super smooth and refreshing though

Unusual for a Czech pilsner. Not true to style…getting apple and very little bitterness on the aftertaste. So smooth and not really carbonated enough. It is really refreshing though…so that saved it for me.

Crisper than the German version, a bit spicier too? Drier finis. Despite that, I don't love it quite as much. That's nitpicking though, they're both great.

Tyler Waterman: Also agree with that. They are both good and if it was 10 degrees hotter and on a deck somewhere, maybe I’d prefer this.
Andy Butler: The czech fills out as it warms. A mix and match of archetypes, but both are quite good. I usually prefer czech, I think, but not this time.

Bottled April 21st. Seems paler than the German, but that may just be my imagination. Mild, spicy aroma - I love saaz. More malt forward in flavour, although the hops are there. Carbonation seems higher, or it has less body. Drier finish is surprising.

This is sweeter but mildly. Less bitter than the German, and this has some carbonation that the German didn’t. It has a toasted bready taste that’s enjoyable. Hard to know what one was better. This is the more crushable when cold.
