This was my dessert post-Christmas lunch, eschewing homemade cakes. This would have been absolutely stellar had it been in the fridge for longer. Still it's got nice depth to it with gobs of fatty chocolate, hazelnuts & coffee. Think Lindts.

What a balanced impy stout. Excellent. Hazelnut, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, roasty and nutty. Really complex. Low sweetness, alcohol is warming but balanced. Good body. Excellent beer!

A very nice chocolate and hazelnut stout. That’s seasonally festive enough for me 🍻 A relatively light oily mouthfeel for the ABV Nicely warming and even though the alcohol is noticeable it’s not excessive and is therefore enjoyably easy to drink
