Boysenberry πPA á La Mode

What the heck is a πPA à la mode? It’s like a warm pie fresh out of the oven with a melting scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It’s like a fat, overripe memory from some summer long ago meets the golden age of IPAs, which is right now. It’s our take on the trendy milkshake IPA, but this one is thick w/nostalgia. We start with a hazy, juicy IPA, that already has a ton of berries on the nose thanks to a silly amount of Mosaic hops. Then we add milk sugar for a creamy sweetness & 2 huge charges of boysenberries that make this a very berry beer, Right before we keg this berry bomb, we add twenty five pods of Madagascar vanilla to lend it that silky-vanilla-ice-cream-melting-into-your warm-berry pie-feeling.
