A dark rich Porter with obvious aromas of chocolate, coffee, toffee and malty goodness. Its low to medium body provides a perfect platform for a subtle plum aftertaste and lingering sweetness. Australian red and black plums were cut up and caramelized with generous amounts of unrefined Dark Muscovado sugar from Mauritius. This was all done using many pots and pans in a HDB apartment in Woodlands. This was then added to the fermentation tank on the fourth day and left to condition for two months.
