In Prohibition Era Alberta, Whiskey Gap was a town known for its nefarious characters and sinister transactions. The law could do nothing but look the other way, or in most cases, find a way to get in on the action. As time wore on, gail force winds took their toll on Whiskey Gap, leaving little to be remembered. All that remains are its skeletons that once ran booze across the river.
Whiskey Gap is a bold, deep red, single batch beer crafted specifically for APB’s 3rd Anniversary. It is best described as an English Strong Ale fermented with a Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Shiraz grape must. Local Bar M Whiskey by Rig Hand Distillery was added after fermentation and we have conditioned the beer for 6 weeks on American Medium Toast new oak. Show Less
