RedStar: Didn’t feel it today at Kirkstall. Alright beers I guess. Just couldn’t be arsed. My beer festival days are numbered. Hop City this month and am out I reckon.

A nice boozy stout. A good accompaniment to discussing a holiday in Barmouth, North Wales, and (as is traditional at a beer festival) remembering Mark - cheers Mark!

Favourite stout so far, nice and fresh but still nice roast coffee taste.

Rich dark chocolate, dark roast malts, thick, the abv is deceptively hidden with what tastes like a fruity even strawberry aftertaste. Caramel takes the second lap easing into a bready sweet vanilla rather heavy finish.
