A lot of the bourbon coming through, but it's mellowed out a good bit. Dark chocolate with a little spice and the barrel wood. Very smooth.

Fairing much better than the old golden strongs. Touch of oxidation, but still has notes of dark fruit, vanilla, clove, and a hint coffee, with a dry finish.

Really enjoying this. Bourbon heat, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove. Deliciously balanced.

Softened out nicely after two years. Rich notes of dark fruit, vanilla, coffee, and a dry finish. Not as hot or tannic as it was.
