Oh my God, the Woodford barrels allow this beer to taste like fucking candy. Don’t forget it’s not a stout, it’s a Belgian strong, dark ale. So it already naturally has those candied essences, but compounded with the bourbon! Motherfucking candy.

Another big ABV BA brew from Anchorage. Belgian dark - didn’t really have much Belgian yeast character but was pretty tasty. Lightly sweet malt w some undertones of dark fruit. Huge barrel character w sweet bourbon & big oak spice. Bold, strong flavors.
