Bought this to commemorate the efforts of one of the first US craft breweries which now closed. Shelf aged in a Danish resort supermarket but aged well. Malty aroma, smooth and mellow with flavours of prunes and raisins but also some woody vanilla notes

This represents the 100th global check-in of the 2020 vintage and the last of my Old Foghorns. Not sure how I got what seems to be such a rare beer entirely by chance, but here we are. Packaged on 9-14-2020. Nothing spectacular but still always enjoyable.

It was tough to find an interesting beer for check-in #7100 in this part of the world but this will do! Toffee, liquorice, orange peel, spice. Nicely complex flavours. Has matured well in the bottle. Lovely original Anchor label design too.
