Single Hop DIPA 8% Nelson Sauvin It’s with great pleasure that we announce the first of our single hop series, Mostly Dead. “You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles.” When you work with Nelson Sauvin, you must never rush. Scott was lucky enough to be one of the first in the country to rub fresh Nelson hops while working for Other Half, and the aroma absolutely blew his mind. The luck continued when we purchased a fresh crop of Nelson a couple of months ago, but choosing to do our first single hop with Nelson wasn’t an easy decision. A single hop beer is incredibly challenging for a brewer since there is no hiding from the characteristic that defines the hop, and Nelson is not for everyone.
