Smooth, subtle nose. Spicy. Tannic, oaky dryness. Hints of fruit, mostly redcurrants and apple skins. Some acid bite. Feels a tad brittle, like brett has hollowed out the richness this promises, leaving a bit of a shadow behind. Would enjoy with cheese.

Improves a lot as it warms up, becomes fresher and loses a strong liquorice note. Orange, barrel aged funk and nutty flavours prominent.
