Kaleidoscope Crumble

Kaleidoscope Crumble Pastry Sour – Our latest limited release has us embracing the cooler nights and change of season with a Peach, Blueberry and Cherry Crumble pastry sour, aptly named Kaleidoscope.

Based on a sweet cream ale, then loaded with fruit gives this beer a deep ruby hue with a medium haze and persistent head. The aroma bursts of fruit with peach dominating but backed by cherry, berries and mango with oat and graham cracker crumble hints in amongst typical pie spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon.

The full mouthfeel is delicately balanced to ensure it carries the flavour and textures of the additions without being overly sweet and cloying. The flavours of the fruit and toppings blend to provide an unmistakeable flavour of a dessert crumble, the higher alcohol content along with the spices provides a gentle warming, and the slightly sour finish ensures it closes out on the palate fresh and delightfully.
