PPB 2016-17 (Post Punk Breakfast)

Mixed vintage imperial stout featuring a blend of a 2016 single-barrel brew aged in first-use Kentucky Bourbon oak barrels since fall 2016 with a second single-barrel batch aged in a first-use maple syrup barrels in early spring, 2017. This beer is the first vintage release of post-punk breakfast and was hand-blended from several barrels by Matt to create a balanced winter warmer swimming with finely balanced vanilla and maple flavors, with complex flavor notes derived from toasted oak and blended with earthy [sweet] flavor of maple blending into the malt-forward dark beer.
