Scorched Earth (Ghost 1064)

This Hazy Double IPA was brewed to compliment the nuanced notes of Black Market, offering forward notes of juicy Tangerine and Pineapple, with a subtle floral finish. The body is a radiant orange, with a semi-dry malt body and palate coating creamy texture.

When paired with Black Market, the smoke brings out a subtle malt sweetness not present on it's own. Robust forward notes of Tropical Citrus accentuate the caramel and cacao notes of the cigar, while the floral finish brightens against the presence of earthy smoke. Mild finishing bitterness resets your palate so that each pull from the cigar, and each sip of the beer, yields a fresh experience that morphs as the cigar burns down and the beer warms in your glass.
