Dia De Los Muertos - Bourbon Barrel Aged (Ghost 051)

I don’t see a Ghost number but it had to be over 5 years ago that I first stepped into Adroit Theory for their release of this beer that was aged in Catoctin Creek’s bourbon barrels. This has held up quite well in the cellar.

Earned the 99 Bottles (Level 48) badge!

Has aged wonderfully. Smooth, mellow yet still drinks big. Had the old school cork problem- took some tools to remove.

Bought it at the release and his mellowed significantly. Not as boozy, very chocolatey, toasty. #wfh

Its excellent, I have had a bunch of bcbs. Adroit is close, imho its thin. Barrel is there,great flavor but thin, or her than that great

Another from 14, this one held its carb, back at release I said big and boozy, which has now settled down, smooth
