Nose: dark malt, oxidized. Palete: bitter dark chocolate, dark fruit(s), sweet(s). Finish: dry, cigar, dark chocolate bitterness (like straight cacao). Quite complex. Wine barrel aging really brings some unique characteristics. Thanks Brandon S.!

Nose: Oxidized? Palate: Roasty, Dark Chocolate, Charred Oak (Barrel), Dry (from Cab Barrels). Finish: Dry & Bitter, Charred Oak. Overall,I'm very happy with this bottle.I think it's held up fairly well in the cellar(slight oxidation, but not significant).
