Saw this was in a Funk Dungeon case so read the reviews and was expecting the sourness. Classy beer imo. Lots going on with sweet, roasty flavours becoming more prevalent as it warms. Flanders red comparisons are spot on. Not a beer you could chin.

BA Impy Stout but aged in red wine barrels rather than usual whisky/bourbon/rum. Rich chocolate taste with sour vinous, flanders red type coming through pretty strong.

Oaky flavour from the barrel ageing. Sweet and thick. Some sourness here, which is surprising. A hint of Brett? The last of my beers from the Abbeydale selection box, which have been excellent.
