Treasure Island

In April 2018 our good friends from Piccolo Birrificio Clandestino in Livorno, Italy, came to visit Two Face Brewing at Søgaards Bryghus in Aalborg, Denmark, to brew a beer together. We talked about what to brew and instead of brewing a nice easy going beer for the early spring, we decided to make a big double mashed Imperial Stout on 12%, inspired by the “tropical” candy bar Bounty. After fermentation the beer was conditioned on vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and toasted coconut, to emulate the flavors of the chocolate candy bar. A great beer for the cold Danish spring, to sip on whilst you dream about going away to tropical islands, and enjoying the bountiful beaches and sunshine! Show Less
