Batch 2-Dark, medium/thick, dried fruits and aged cognac barrel, a little boozy but smooth for 17%, flavor has surely softened over 10 years but still holds up

This was amazing. Yes there's cardboard in the nose and taste, but it's integrated and plays well with all the other flavors. Nice sweetness to it, velvety malt heaven.

This phenomenal at 10yrs old? I wish I had it in 2014 to see how good it was then, this is exceptional. Best barleywine to date.
