Gothenbrau

Brewed exclusively (well, usually) for Gothenburg restaurant on Hamilton’s “entertainment alley” of Hood Street, Gothenbrau was designed to tickle the taste buds of fans of Munich’s Hofbrau Helles. Based loosely around that famous beer, except brewed with an ale yeast at low temperatures rather than the more traditional lager yeast, Gothenbrau delivers European style with local freshness and flavour.
Gothenbrau is pale golden in the glass, with a juicy biscuit and caramel malt flavour and aroma, balanced with delicate earthy/floral hop notes and a gentle bitterness.
