Nice to revisit a Brettanomyces activated brew when it’s been a while. The barreling has imparted loads of oak flavour. Pickled barley jus, fresh, comforting oak soup and that most distinguishable, overused dishcloth pungency & white wine vinegar.

Holy shit! I know Boatrocker are great but this is impressive. Relatively sweet & smooth base, but the strong, vibrant stonefruit & pear flavours and esters are huge while being pleasantly sour and funky. Complex yet easy drinking and delicious. Wow.

Could be on the decline. After nearly 5 years that’s not surprising but it is a shame as it used to be truly top shelf. Still a lot of brett (obvs), some interesting sherbet like notes, a bit of a dull ending. Maybe I’m tasting through memory but still…
