4oz pour from the bottle (2020 vintage). Big strawberry nose jumps out. Chocolate and strawberries, cocoa, bourbon, cinnamon, berry finish. A little heat despite the aging.

Cough syrup vibes, due to age(?)

Strawberry is hard in stouts, and while I’m guessing this is a bit past it’s prime, it blossomed as it warmed with nice choco and berry. Not bad. Thanks, Beer C.

Surprise of the night as this stout wasn't really sweet, the strawberry was neither artificial nor watering down the beer, on the contrary it added a really nice and discreet touch of berries and acidity, nice body and with a finish of chocolate.

Wonder if this was a lot better when fresh? Now it’s still pretty good, a faint strawberry (not freeze dried!) and cocoa powder.
