Robert Smith: This is easily the smokiest BA Dark Lord I’ve had to date. The non-BA base will sometimes have some smoke, but the variants always suppressed it. Fun beer, but this is the least impressive Handjee I’ve had to date

Immediately more char than I think I've ever experienced in a Handjee, which is nice, but also more booze, which seems to lift notes of lozenge or cherry. Still, the vanilla is ever decadent and the thickness persists. The least sweet DL of all? Perhaps.

Darkness pick up last year. Thick and mouth coating. Nice vanilla sweetness, barrel, but also some roasted notes to it. Needed something for the March madness loss. Damn good. Cheers!
