For a 17 year old Stout this is bang on! The age is felt, theres a lil cardboard+lil more soy sauce along w some stale coffee beans, but there is also fudge+mocha caramel ribbon+sweet chocolate ice cream w dark chocolate shavings+woodsy coffee+Bourbon oak
Dennis Danelia: Has a surprising amount of raisin bread+figgy pudding to it too, somewhat for the age w oxidization, and some nice dark chocolate coated dried black figs+almond brittle, as well as some light cinnamon sugar. Fun, and holds up despite being too sweet now.

Dark Lord vertical notes: 2009 - roast and caramel. Some dark chocolate. A little rust from age. Black pour with ok head. Not what I’d call superior. Some soy 2010 - chocolate. Roast and caramel. Oily. Rust like 2009 but a little less. Still overrate

This is still so incredibly drinkable, even after 16 years. It might even smell like soy sauce, but the palate gives you subtly still there coffee, chocolate, vanilla and panela. So smooth at 15% it's insane. Shoulda drank this earlier but here we are!
