Very butterscotch. Maple syrup aroma with a bit on the flavor. Can’t necessarily make out the brandy barrel. Strikes me a tad more as a barley wine than a Belgian quad. I’d say it’s neither but a damn fine dessert beer. Perfect in lieu of Tgiving pie
