Geist, a 2.8% Berliner Style Weisse was fermented with a carefully selected mixed culture directly in our French oak foudre. We added our own twist to this traditional style by using a small amount of aged hops and packaging in clear glass to conjure up a controlled amount of skunk and aged hop funk that we love very dearly. Known as “the champagne of the north” this beer is slightly tart, sparkling, dry, nuanced, and a culmination of years of brewing, drinking, and thinking about this beautiful old world style of wheat beer.
