Built to sit somewhere between West and East coast, our Symbiosis series focuses on the idea of building on what we knew about hops and how they compliment and contrast against each other. Pupa is the next stage in the evolution. We're taking the hops from the limelight and moving towards the yeasts that play just an important role in flavour. Expect masses of tropical fruits bursting from the can as hops and yeast dance to create a sensual panoply of aromas. Oats lend a luxurious mouthfeel and low bitterness helps to accentuate this beer into a long and juicy finish. Read Less

Intense greens of fresh hops bursting with fruitiness filled his senses. Rich yellows and golds of malted barley adding subtle sweet tones to the vibrant coloured show. The setting sun started to turn red and, as its light subsided, he was filled with a mellow bitterness and the blues of wanting more. Read Less

542 Million years ago the Cambrian Explosion began, an evolutionary expansion unrivalled in speed, scope and importance. From the primordial murk came forth the ancestral forms of most life as we know it.

At first, all is darkness. Thick chocolate and coffee notes swirl about the pallet. However, all tastes are rapidly encompassed by the roar of blinding liquorice. This wonderful rich stout is made with freshly roasted Columbian coffee beans from our friends Mozzo in Southampton.
Kick-start pours an opaque black and the aroma is dark roasted malts with a big kick of coffee/espresso.
The taste leads with full-bodied dark roasted coffee upfront and oats inject a nice smooth texture to finish.

For this juicy IPA we threw an abundance of Citra and Simcoe hops in to a very oat-heavy brew. Pineapple, orange and mango dominate the aroma whilst juicy apricot, mandarin and ripe mango tackle the palate. Huge sappy flavours takes the lead into a long, piney finish.

The first brew was a collaboration with Siren Craft - the original amble: We all have heroes in life but it's not very often they come round your house to play on your brew kit. When Siren said they wanted to collaborate on a brew, we got to thinking what we loved about their beer and, after much arguing, we couldn't get past how consistently fantastic their core beers are. After much mumbling, we settled on a juicy IPA fermented on their house yeast. We threw lots of Citra, Simcoe, and Bravo at a very oat-heavy brew and this is the result. Pineapple, orange and mango dominate the aroma whilst juicy apricot, mandarin and ripe mango tackle the palate. Huge sappy flavours takes the lead into a long, piney finish.

Our chums at Clapton Craft were on the hunt for a rich American IPA and chose our sleepy woods to brew it in. We took Citra, for it's unrelenting juicy and pithy overtures, and Simcoe, because of its firey pine and stone fruit flavours. An oat laden malt bill provides a hefty body, and fermentation on London Fog adds its own stone fruit esters and rounds off this delicious brew.

This is ridiculous, frankly. Brewed to celebrate our full rebrand on the 4th August and for the Genetic Drift European TTO Event. It's 7.3% of intensely tart fruited silliness. It's got, if I remember correctly, 120kg of Raspberry puree, 80kg of Rhubarb puree, and then a number of sterile buckets of local Rhubarb Juice (cheers, Dorset Sunshine Cider!). Then we fermented on a quite mild yeast so it's not as dry as our Zuur range. It's very sour, it's also very thick. Enjoy! Read Less

Long have we enjoyed our imperial strength beers at Vibrant Forest but until now we've stayed away from the eponymous Imperial IPA. However, we've gotten hold of some new and extremely fresh hops and we want to go for it! Gyroscope. Expect a deep citrus aroma that screams of the American West Coast.  On the tongue is an immediate haymaker of big bursting orange, mandarin and grapefruit hops that dances against the strength of the beer and, as the dust settles, a long and lasting citrus bitterness lingers. Our regular imperial coffee stout is a titan named Umbral Abyss. Stygian Abyss ages this monster in cognac barrels for many months and this has added a great deal of complexity to the brew.
